What casual games are people using voice with? I've found that even single player games are a bit more fun when talking to friends that are playing them.

That's one of its main use cases for sure. I'll be using it for that myself personally more as soon as we have the Mac version done (super soon!)

I want to use this new Imox for these two new games in the future hopefully, when I get it running on my PC:

I bought like 6 games on Steam the other week and how many have I gotten a chance to play? None :(

Need more time for gaming!

I'm being a real nerd; bought a Pro account so I can have a separate server for my online tabletop rpg stuff.

Great idea!

Also- server names are unique. It's not a bad idea to try and snap up the 'good ones' while you can.

A few friends have talked about using Google Wave for tabletop games, but it always falls flat. Too much work.

Disclaimer: Nerd Rant
it works to do a more detailed "Play by Post" style with the opportunity to possibly do real time things like combat, etc.....but it really isn't "the best" at this stage. And I mean, seriously, it's not designed for gamers (we're just the community that happens to get the most mileage out of it at the moment it seems lol.)

My personal favorite solution is GameTable (http://gametable.mornproductions.com/Index). The most popular solution these days is RPTools. (http://rptools.net/) Both are awesome depending on the level of complexity you're wanting to put in.

I stick with GameTable for simplicity; I just want to be able to roll dice, load images and draw maps quickly. I've played in a D&D session over RPTools where EVERYTHING was handled in the software thanks to a DM who took time to make everything, down to customized dice macros for spells. GameTable was nice, though, for hooking up my laptop to an HDTV and using as a tabletop for my "real life" crew ;)

That's pretty damn cool. We're starting a new D&D group and might just have to mess with that
