What would you like to see as plugins?
I see three main types of plugins initially:
Game Integration would build deeper integration with games- including overlays, in-game controls, etc 3rd Party Integration would integrate imVOX with a non-game program- perhaps Firefox, Skype or an IRC program. imVOX extensions would be additional extensions of what the client could do. Perhaps it could record audio from channels or something else cool. We're working now to finalize what the API/SDK can and can't do. The main features that it must include is awesomeness. What are some plugins that you'd like to see? |

Game Integration-How about a FPS metor in the top left of the game screen.
Game Integration-How about a imVOX integrated screen for server settings. Game Integration-Maybe a little pop up text window in the bottom right so u can see what others typed in the TEXT Chat part of the server. Game Integration-and maybe a little clock on the screen somewhere 3rd Party Integration-Dont need but hope u can use theses and hope u do

We might be able to do an FPS meter, but that will require hooking in with the game and figuring out the output FPS of the game itself. Most games (in which framerate matter), have an FPS meter somewhere in their advanced options.
I highly doubt in the near future that we'd be able to do any direct game integration for non-open-source games, and for those it would be dependent on the game dev's to make it happen as we likely won't mess with their code. For an overlay, we could put a clock, but again, most games in which it matters have such already. |

I would like to see a widget/plugin for my Vista sidebar so that I do not need to have the full screen up all the time.

Tibbon,
Thanks for your reply. According to Microsoft, Windows 7 does include the sidebar and I think there might be how-to's for creating the gadgets/widgets.

Add in a Phantom type thing from Ventrilo, so people can be listening to other channels without being in them. Or have it like TeamSpeak where they can just turn on a thing that has them listening to anything sent into a global chat kind of thing, that way people can use this for big battles and what not the same way Vent/TS are currently used.

Ability to pipe music into room channels. The more admin control the better. For sure make it an option to allow certian members/users to use this function. Different music piped into different rooms would make this very powerfull software and me a life long customer....Let me know if I can help in any way.
